Antique Nepali Bronze statue of Buddhist deity Tara
This lovely 19th century Nepali bronze is of Tara, the Great Mother Liberator and Buddhist deity of compassion and protection for all beings navigating the hazardous ocean of existence. She is in excellent undamaged condition, but is missing her aureole. Measuring 5 ½ inches (13.5cm) in height, the statue weighs 800g (without packaging). £275.
